RCE International’s Board of Directors is responsible for the general oversight of RCE and for the vision and financial integrity of the ministry. The Board creates and approves all operating policies of RCE to ensure that the ministry meets all laws and regulations.

The Finance Committee of the Board oversees the finances of the organization and presents an annual operating budget to the Board for approval.

Dr. Rohn Peterson

Board Chair
Rohn previously served as the Superintendent of the Roanoke-Bensen School District in Roanoke, IL, and is a past Director of Alliance Academy International in Quito, Ecuador.

Mr. John Rempel

Board Vice-Chair
John has a background in financial planning. He has served on various non-profit boards and currently leads a niche NPO focused on helping businesses leave a transformational footprint in their communities. John was a founding Board Member of RCE and has been instrumental in serving international education ministries.

Mr. Terry Williams

Board Secretary / Treasurer
Terry is the Vice President of Consulting Services for an accounting and consulting service provider in Wheaton, IL, and has served on the board and as President and Vice President of other mission organizations.

Dr. Cynthia Steury

Cindy recently retired as the Assistant Dean for Faculty Development and as an Associate Professor of Education at Huntington University in Huntington, IN.

Mr. Brett Howard

Brett currently serves RCE as the president of the organization. He also has experience in overseas missions as well as business and ministry in the US.
